All you are super awesome. At the expo we are making lots of connections with the incoming freshman this fall. So start praying about how you are going to be able to minister to this new crowd. Hey guys, hope you are having a wonderful summer. So there is a really big event happening this next week, Starlite Crusade. Many of you probably received invites on Facebook and have seen it listed in the listserve. This is an event that takes place at First Southern every year and is part of the way the church fulfills the great commission to go and make disciples. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to bring friends or family to, or just come and support the event. Even outside of the evangelistic aspects it is a great event and a lot of fun. So if you are in town next week we really encourage you to go and support this event and the church. Well on to another note. It was so great to see so many people at the small group on Monday. If you can’t make small groups on Monday last week we just started having a small group on Thurs. so we encourage all of you if Monday doesn’t work to attend that one, it is a phenomenal group as well. This is going to be an amazing evangelic event to invite friends and family too. It will feature a guest speaker Evangelist Steve Hale. Each night there will be food (cost $2.50 that’s pretty cheap), music and worship. Details will soon be up on the website as well as on facebook.
