Our 2012 Priority Missions Goal is $35,000. If you would like to give towards our summer mission trips, you can make checks payable to First Southern Baptist Church. Be sure to write "College Missions" in the memo or if you want it designated to a specific trip write that trip name. Bring your check to the offering with your tithe or mail it to 445 E. Sao Paul, Brazil 2012
Dates: May 12-21, 2012
Students will foster new friendships and help solidify existing relationships with Brazilian students. Large group will be divided into smaller subgroups. Subgroups will be assigned a campus where they will spend their time for the entire week. Groups will hang out on campus, eat lunch, attend classes, etc. The objective is to make the connection to our church. You are free to share your faith but the objective is to simply make friendships. Our church will follow-up afterwards.

Josiah Venture Summer Internship 2012
Approx Dates: June-July
Young people in Eastern Europe live in a changing world their parents never knew - a place once dominated by government sponsored atheism yet now filled with opportunity and freedom. But this same region is also increasingly becoming a "post-Christian society."
The world has changed. But the gospel is still the same. And God is moving in a unique way across Eastern Europe as young men and women are being touched by the message of Jesus Christ. Some of this is being sparked by the dedication, sacrifice and service of a missionary team called Josiah Venture (http://www.josiahventure.com).
Join JV in God's work in Eastern Europe for a summer through English, Sports, or Creative Arts Camps.

Czech Republic English Camp 2012
Dates: July 16 - August 1, 2012
Join us as we reach the youth in the Czech Republic and use our native language as a jumping point for relationships and sharing Christ! We work through a ministry called Josiah Venture (http://www.josiahventure.com) whose vision is to be part of a movement of God among the youth of Eastern Europe that finds its home in the local church and transforms society. We will partner with a local church to reach the students in the town of Bohumin. It is an amazing and growing experience as you live and share your testimonies of Christ's love in real, fun, and likely lasting ways with students who often have never come in contact with the gospel before!
