All you are super awesome. At the expo we are making lots of connections with the incoming freshman this fall. So start praying about how you are going to be able to minister to this new crowd. This Sunday is the CLASS 201, once again we really encourage you if you have not gone and are in town to attend. Rob will be talking more about this class on Sunday. Hey guys, hope you are having a wonderful summer. So there is a really big event happening this next week, Starlite Crusade. Many of you probably received invites on Facebook and have seen it listed in the listserve. This is an event that takes place at First Southern every year and is part of the way the church fulfills the great commission to go and make disciples. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to bring friends or family to, or just come and support the event. Even outside of the evangelistic aspects it is a great event and a lot of fun. So if you are in town next week we really encourage you to go and support this event and the church. Well on to another note. It was so great to see so many people at the small group on Monday. If you can’t make small groups on Monday last week we just started having a small group on Thurs. so we encourage all of you if Monday doesn’t work to attend that one, it is a phenomenal group as well. +Starlight Crusade

This is going to be an amazing evangelic event to invite friends and family too. It will feature a guest speaker Evangelist Steve Hale. Each night there will be food (cost $2.50 that’s pretty cheap), music and worship. Details will soon be up on the website as well as on facebook.

Hey guys, hope you’re having a great week. We have couple major things happening this week. First off Monday was Rob’s first day as associate pastor and college pastor. He will be speaking in Priority this Sunday and we should all be sure to welcome him to Priority. Secondly, Class 101 is being offered this Sunday. There is more information about this class farther down in the newsletter. Well I believe that is all for now, so just read on for all that is happening in Priority. +C.L.A.S.S. 101

CLASS 101 is a class we encourage everyone to attend. This class will inform you about what First Southern is about as well as church membership. Even if you are not sure that you want to become a church member at this time we encourage you to attend simply so you can learn more about the church and what it involves.There was going to be an attached letter but this is what the bulk of it said:

C.L.A.S.S. 101 is entitled “Discovering Church Membership”

If you are a new member, someone who has visited and would like to know more about First Southern Baptist Church, or someone who has been a member for a long time, we invite you to come.

It will cost you nothing but your time. We will give you in return a notebook, free Pepsi and pizza and answers to questions like:

· Who are Baptists?

· What do we believe?

· What is baptism, the Lord’s Supper?

· What is the purpose of the church?

· How do you become a Christian?

· How do you join the church?

Needs: The Camp is for kids 1^st-6^th grade. They are in need of Volunteers as counselors, kitchen helpers, music for campfires, play games and tell stories at the camp fire, hikes, line dancing, and craft helpers. You are not required to help everyday or even stay up there. People are more then welcome to drive up for a day and help and then leave.
